These are the terms you agree to when you use Vehicle Inspect Check. We have kept them as short and readable as we reasonably can, because terms nobody understands protect nobody. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it properly.
By browsing this website or placing an order, you are agreeing to everything on this page. If you do not agree with part of it, please do not use the service. Vehicle Inspect Check is operated by Vara Lakshmi LLC, and these terms are between you and that company.
We compile digital vehicle history reports from public records, registered databases and published manufacturer data. Depending on what exists for the vehicle you search, a report may cover:
Not every vehicle has a record in every category. Where nothing has been reported, the report will say so, which is a valid and complete result.
We want to be direct about this, because it is the single biggest source of misunderstanding:
Our honest advice: use the report to spot red flags in a vehicle's paperwork history, then have the car inspected in person by a qualified mechanic before you hand over any money. The two together give you a far better picture than either one alone.
We take reasonable care to pull accurate, current data, but our reports depend on records maintained by third parties: state agencies, insurers, manufacturers and salvage operators. If one of those bodies has not reported an event, or has reported it late or incorrectly, that gap will carry through to your report. We cannot warrant that information from third-party sources is complete or error-free, and any decision you make on the basis of a report is your own.
Payment is taken in full before a report is produced, and is processed by PayPal or Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
Refunds are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy. In short: before delivery, or where the fault is ours, you get your money back. After delivery, the product has been supplied and cannot be refunded.

The site, its design, our report templates and all associated branding belong to Vehicle Inspect Check and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. Buying a report gives you a personal licence to use that report. It does not transfer ownership of the format, the layout or the branding.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Vehicle Inspect Check is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of our reports or website. That includes a purchase you regret, a resale value you did not expect, or a repair bill you were not anticipating.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
We aim to keep the site running at all times, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upstream data outages and technical faults can all cause delays. Where an outage stops us delivering a report you have paid for, we will either deliver it late or refund you. That choice is yours.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Vara Lakshmi LLC is registered. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
If something here does not make sense, or you want to check whether a particular use is allowed, just ask. We would much rather answer a question up front than sort out a misunderstanding later.
